Rachelle’s (formerly Planet Cake) has just re-launched with a brand new website, a brand new name and a brand new kitchen. Rachelle’s is run by Rachel, Director and Designer. With an extensive background in Design, Interiors and the Film industry, Rachel has a real eye for design and colour.
A love of the sweet and delicious and a passion for design and all things beautiful, gave Rachel the flair to bake and decorate some truly stunning cakes. Offering a professional, friendly and personal service, all of Rachelle’s cakes are edible works of art with a meticulous attention to detail.
Cakes are made and designed from scratch from the South London Studio. There are even some urban chickens that assist in the making, producing gorgeous fresh eggs on a daily basis!
Rachel and the team have built up a strong reputation within the Wedding Industry, with work featuring regularly within many of the leading Bridal titles. Rachelle’s provide an immaculate level of service and supply cakes to some of London’s most prestigious Hotels. In 2010 Rachel was honoured to be nominated one of three Finalists at the Baking Industry Awards, ‘Celebration Cake Maker of the Year’.
Rachelle’s provide a friendly, personal and professional service. Their customer care and level of service is immaculate, ensuring that every cake leaving the studio is perfection.
Consultations and tasters are offered from their South London Studio by appointment only and last for approximately an hour. You will be guided through all of your cake choices. Whilst tasting some of their delicious samples, you will be able to browse additional photographs from their extensive portfolio and view their latest collection of beautiful cakes.
As all of their cakes are made to order everything can be altered in colour or size, if you cannot see something to suit, they can design something especially for you. They recommend bringing any samples, pictures or ideas you have that will assist in the design process. They can then get a feel for the style and theme of the occasion and sketch up an example of your perfect cake.
