>> INSTAGRAM FRIDAY << WEEK ONE - A GLIMPSE INTO LIFE OUTSIDE OF PEONIES & PEARLS. ART, INTERIORS, EVENTS, BABIES....

I've decided to start a new feature on the blog called Instagram Friday.  It's simply that, Instagram pics from my life for that week.  A little glimpse into my life outside of Peonies & Pearls :)

So here we go...Week One >>>>

Finally finished a painting I started for Cai's nursery a few weeks before he was born.  I'm liking the result!

Cai tried his first bit of food and had a good old suck on a carrot baton

Went for a yummy lunch with my hubby to our favourite joint, The Bishop on Lordship Lane.  We had this
sweet Bambi lamp on our table.  Buy HERE

Bought myself some flowers (bad hubby ;-) )

Had a load of Instagram pics printed (at Photobox) and made a heart out of them above our bed.  Our family gallery.

So simple to do and perfect for a wall at your wedding reception! Or try hanging them on a
line with wooden pegs (avail at Paperchase), great for a vintage syle wedding.

We have soooo many pics that this has inspired us to cover one of our living room walls with them to make a 'memory wall'.  Big project but something the hubby and I are looking forward to doing together.  We're thinking of white tacking them to the wall so it's an ever evolving wall, installation art in our very own home ;-)
(Will update you with pics over coming weeks)

Was invited by my bestie Jenny of the fabulous Mothers Meeting to the UK launch event for Nuna.  We picked up some fab freebies and got to try out some really lovely Nuna products.  Cai particularly liked the high chair.  Cai also loves his gorgeous Pirate Blanket the fab peeps at BabyFace gave him!  We also have some lovely Weleda products to try out, yippe!!  Thanks to Boudoir PR for a fab event.

Finally bought batteries for Cai's cute Panda speakers that Santa bought him.  Buy HERE

Eyed up this stunning chandelier for our living room.  Buy HERE
