I have the most fab sponsor and amazing giveaway for you today, the perfect way to round off the week!!

Illustrative Moments is run by Debi Jones Griffin.  After 13 years of working in couture bridal and sketching for clients and bridal publications she decided to make this modern keepsake available to every bride.  Any fashion loving bride is going to LOVE LOVE LOVE Debi's stunning sketches. Debi was so kind and sent me a beautiful sketch of myself in my wedding dress, I can't tell you how much I love it, I adore it!!  I've framed it already and it's stunning.  It's even more special to me as I sold my wedding dress, so it's a really beautiful keepsake.  I love fashion sketches and never thought I'd own one, I really will treasure it, thanks so much Debi :)

Here's my beautiful sketch...

Up on the wall already...

If you haven't visited the OUR WEDDING section on the site, see pictures of me in my wedding dress HERE.

I was so taken with Debi's work and generosity I offered her free sponsorship as a thank you, that's how much I love this lady!  I love to have sponsors on my site that I truly believe in and want to recommend to my readers and Debi, aka Illustrative Moments is one of them.

Debi tells us a bit more about her work....

"Illustrative Moments takes a fashionable memory and turns it into a timeless piece of art and the new go-to gift even more so the ULTIMATE first anniversary gift of paper. Perfect for any occasion- Bridal shower, Wedding, Anniversary, Valentines, Birthday, Christmas, or just because. I have even had requests for bridal party and mother of the bride portraits as well which makes for a very thoughtful gift from the bride. If it is a gift given before the big day I have been successful in working with tear sheets of the wedding gown and pictures of the bride to-be with notes on hair styles and jewelry since most brides cannot keep their big day glam a secret from their friends. Gift Certificates are also available as well as optional custom work such as illustrations for paper goods etc.

The illustration is rendered in a high fashion style that will take on characteristics such as hair color/style and jewelry but is not meant to be an exact portrait. The chosen pose is decided by the dress and all highlighted details creating a flattering composition.

Each piece is done with much attention to detail and is created in colored pencil, colored marker, ink, and metallic pens and placed in a silk white mat with backer board ready to frame inside a clear sleeve."

Here's a few examples of Debi's work, in the flesh they're even more gorgeous, if that's even possible!

  1. Oh gosh I would love to win. They are just so beautiful!

I wonder if she could make me look how I really wanted to look!

  2. I would like to win this for a number of reasons. Number 1: The artwork is stunning and I would love to own such a beautiful illustration of my special day, Number 2: I've been married 21 months and still don't have a single picture on the wall of our wedding, Number 3: I run a successful wedding based business but our own wedding seems to have been put on the back burner, so winning this sketch would bring our own fabulous day back to the forefront.

  3. I would love to win this dress as the first thing I did when I got engaged was sketch my idea of my dream dress on a bit of note paper. I couldn't find anything like it in the shops at the time (this year its all V neck and lace - it wasn't two years ago!!) so my very talented best friend made the dress for me. The dress turned out a carbon copy of the sketch and everyone loved it. My dodgy sketch is not wall worthy so now the dress is sadly boxed up in the loft I would love a professional version!!

  4. i would so love to win this prize as I too sold my dress and would love a keepsake to remember it by. It really was my one day of feeling like a princess! ;-)
    I've tweeted too. x
